Using CAS and Interactive Geometry (IG) to Develop Algebraic SkillsNoel Baker Centre for School Mathematics Australia
Abstract In this tutorial you will experience some learning sequences
that utilise interactive Geometry and CAS to first develop an understanding
and some visual images of algebraic identities and then to develop skills
in using the identities. The IG and CAS of the CASIO ClassPad 300 will
be used as well as a third party application called ALGY that runs on
both the ClassPad 300 and WIndows. |
